I can't believe how difficult this D-Link wireless network has been to get set up.
Anyway, now that I finally have the DIR-625 (Wireless Router) up & running, I can't for the life of me get the DWL-G510 (PCI Card) recognized in XP.
I just installed everything from scratch 2 days ago, updated my drivers, etc. That was how I was able to get the router to work.
This isn't my 1st build, it's probably my 10th, but this darn card is giving me a headache.
I've tried 2 PCI slots & I know the card works because the green Power LED works. Anyway, if anyone has experienced this & found a fix for it, please let me know.
My 2nd problem is that the only programs that show up in Add/Remove Programs are programs that start with the letter A. Everything else is gone & when I click in the field the screen turns blue.
I did a full scan for viruses/infections & everything came up clean. Like I said, this XP Pro w/ SP2 install is 2 days old.
