Right now I have cable and ADSL connection on the same comp. I'm using WinXP Pro
Both connections are connected. But i have to 'dial-in' into the DSL connection to get it to work.
But once I do my cable is cut off, and i'm only able to use my DSL until I disconnect it.
I want to know if it's possible to use both connections at the same time, increasing my bandwidth.
I have tried programs such as Internet Connection Teaming from MidPoint. But the don't work for shit.
Is it even possible? If so, how will I go about doing it? any suggestions please

Sweet! Too bad I can't get Cable OR DSL where I live. :|

Your default gateway changes when you 'dial in' to your DSL connection, I think. That's why you can't use both at the same time. I think.... I'm too lazy to search also.

Damn, you have cable and DSL!! My only question is why?? If one isn't good enough, get rid of it and use the other.

You would have to have some hardware that would route the protocols cause your computer as it is set up now will default to one gateway. I still don't know if it would allow the two to operate at the same time though since you have to dial in (is it PPOE?).

a quick way of disconnecting either one would be to do it in the network connections control panel - i dont know how to bond the 2 connections...
