Ah well, Im going to wait for later revision before purchase anyways. And if the P4-EE really wops the A64 then the price will probably go down further. :)

A lot of times the NDA expires at something like 3 AM ET, so don't hold your breath quite yet.

Uhh guys, in terms of the A64 NDA, I wouldn't be surprised if the NDA's don't expire until after the Live A64 Launch Event Webcast today in San Fran. Now this is from 10am-on PDT so maybe around this time or afterwords the NDA's Will lift and only then will we actually see the USA A64 site reviews.

BTW, I read a great Russian Review comparing the P4 EE and A64 and the A64 didn't do too well. You will need a translator. I think Intel did a great and Stealthy job of stealing a lot of AMD's thunder for their A64 launch day with their P4 EE. It's absolutely AMAZING that Intel was able to keep this chip so secret for over a year and then announce it a week before the A64 launch and no one had any idea, nor did it ever show up on any Intel road maps or anything.

And thats just my $0.02

WOW!! NICE!! Now when you say, 'All Expense Paid' does this mean he'll get to bring home some 'New' Hardware, if ya know what I mean;)

My friend is at that AMD launch party as a AMD64 winner and he said they won't tell any of them squat till the launch party at 1EST so I'd say that's when the NDA is up.

I plan on watching if for sure in about an hour or so. But for you AMD Fanboys, yes today is when its 'launched' but how long until YOU get your hands on one is the real question?

I'm really rooting for AMD on this one, as Competition is good for all of us. But the biggest hurt, won't be the benchmarks if the A64 doesn't do that great (hey, remember when the original P4 came out and everyone said it sucked!); the biggest failing to todays launch is a lack of Windows XP 64-Bit. I mean thats the main selling point of the CPU. It will be very hard to justify buying the A64 CPU unless it beats the P4 EE in most benchmarks until a few months after the XP 64-Bit O/S comes out AND a few 64-Bit apps.

Just my $0.03

UT2004 will be also sold in 64-Bit format for the A64. Available by X-Mas. Now I kinda wish I had a A64 CPU, well almost............;)
