Hot Deal and Tiger Direct in the same sentence? I guess if you completly ignore the lack of customer service. i'd rather take my chances on powerball than try to return something to them. For the less adventurous, i'd buy somewhere else, then use AMEX blue to PM it. Not to dimish your find, but i think tiger's rep must be taken into account.

I've had no problems dealing with TigerDirect. I ordered that 3com router over the phone a few days ago, and the shipment arrived within 2 days. I wouldn't mind ordering from them again.

Don't give them your email address, they are unstoppable spammers. I still get tigerdirect spam just about every day, despite numerous complaints and following their various unsubscribe instructions.

TigerDirect is fine until you need ANY type of customer service. They DO NOT know what customer service means. Once you buy something from them and if it goes bad (even if they shipped it to you bad), you will have to go through the manufacturer's warranty. They wouldn't let me return the lemon that they shipped me. 🙁

Yes. Tigerdirect is great for some stuff because of their prices. I might buy from them again BUT only understanding that I was taking a much bigger risk than with ordinary etailers. I won't buy any hard drives from them again nor will I buy someting from them that I need ASAP (took 2 months to get my 12x4x32 SCSI plextor for 150).
