2 HDs - Dual Boot - Take one out?

Hersh

hey guys,

I currently have 2 HDs in my comp... one is 15gig and the other is 45gig. I have it partitioned to C, D, E, F, G, H drives. C, E, F belong to the 15gig drive and D, G, H belongs to the 45gig drive.

this comp is dual booted... WinMe is installed on C and Win2k Adv Server is installed on D. Now, im building a new comp and want to take out the 45gig. If i just take the drive out, would everything work? Would WinMe still run?

thanks

The driver lettering will change. (because the D will get removed) That may break some of your applications/games...it all depends on where stuff is installed.

windows should run fine... but just unplug the power cable from the 45GB and try to boot once just to see what all happens...
