2 hard drives

I have a 20 gig Maxtor drive that I have been using. I need more space so I bought an 80 gig seagate drive.

I have xp and my other documents on the 20 gig and I plan on putting games on the 80 gig drive. SO the 20 gig will be the master and the 80 will be the slave.

The other option is to put everything on the 80 gig drive and only have 1 drive.

Which would be faster in terms of running my games?

Which setup is faster in general?

How reliable is having 2 drives running at once?

Please read the last zillion threads asking about multiple hard drives, RAID, etc.

Nothing will be faster or slower if all you are doing is running games (unless the 80GB drive is faster physically than the 20GB one and you put your games on the 80GB one; then they'll load faster). If both drives are on the same IDE channel, accessing both at once will slow things down.

The 80GB will probably be faster than the 20GB.
