Need to pick 2 gig's of ram for a LGA775 dual or quad processor set up. I'd like to keep the price around $100 give or take. If there's something a little more worth looking at I'll hear it out. Will be used with a audio recording computer which plays large 40gb sample libraries. What do you suggest?

The Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit can be had for $50 after rebate. It seems like everyone here likes this ram, AT even suggests it on all there entry level systems. I can't believe it 2 gigs for $50. Has to be bought within the next two days to qualify for the rebate, right before black friday. Makes me wonder what will happen with ram Friday. Anyone know of any ram sales friday? What do you think about this ram? If this is entry level what do you get at mid level? Anyone see any issues getting 2 sets (4gigs) to use with this board? Does that take away at all from the dual channel support? No sense if the gigabyte board/system would run better on 2gigs.
