2 GB Compact Flash card for Nikon D70?

Dunno about the D70 but the D50 only accepts up to a 2 GB card. Check your documentation to make sure.

I have 1 Kingston 2GB, 1 Transcend 2 GB, and 1 Transcend 1 GB cards.
 
I used 4gb CF cards in my old D70 with no problem at all. The D70 will support CF cards of any capacity, even microdrives.

The D50 uses SD cards and does not have support for SDHC. The SD spec only goes up to 2gb, therefore limiting the D50 to 2gb. There are some non-standard 4gb SD cards, but no idea if they will work or not. Seems to be hit or miss.
