Not trying to be rude or anything, but can't anyone just go to battle.net and sign up for the starter edition (which I assume is the same things as the guest passes?)
 
I have no idea. People used to ask for them all the time and I don't even play anymore (months)...realized I had them so I thought I'd give them away.
