I wish to use 2 (or 3 if need be) BEFSRX1 routers to accomplish these things.
I have 5 IP addresses and am using 2 presently for websites and proxies. I have a single DSL connection using a Efficient Networks SpeedStream Modem to a D-Link DSS-5+ 10/100Mb Switch that runs to each BEFSR41 v.2:
BEFSR41 #1
123.123.123.194.........WAN IP (Services for that web site - W3, SMTP, FTP, POP3, RDP, Various)
255.255.255.252.........Subnet
123.123.123.193.........Gateway
192.168.1.1..................LAN IP
BEFSR41 #2
123.123.123.195..........WAN IP (Services for that web site - W3, SMTP, FTP, VNC, POP3, Various)
255.255.255.252..........Subnet
123.123.123.193..........Gateway
192.168.2.1...................LAN IP
If I try and access the W3 services on the 123.123.123.195, via HTTP from the 192.168.1.0 network I get the login for the opposite router.
The routers are set to Gateway presently. If I enable RIP I no longer get internet but pass through to the other network. How do I establish connectivity between the two "domains" using "router" and static routes and still have the ability to host the services for each FQDN? I have an additional BEFSR11 v.1, can that be used to make this possible?
