Hey, I was just browsing Compgeeks a minute ago and saw this link on their front page:

24 inch ATA133 Round Cables

and since I haven't seen round cables for this cheap anyplace else (granted, I haven't been looking too hard) I thought I'd share it with you guys. The link I posted is for the black version, but they have several different colors for the same price, as well as round floppy cables. I'm told there's a 10 percent off code somewhere so it might get even hotter if you pick a few of them up at once. Hope this helps a few people out.

As always, I did a search and this didn't show up, so if there's a better deal around or this is a repost please tell me and no crucifiction pls tks. Enjoy!

Btw, if you buy one, it seems that compgeeks "add on specials" will offer additional ones for just $4.25. The offer will appear when you're taken to your shopping cart after clicking "buy it now" or "add to cart."

Beastbuy, like jumpondeals said, using the 10% off coupon code will reduce the price of all cables in your cart to $4.05 each. This is better than the "add-on special" price. However, if you also buy the round floppy cable, believe the "add-on special" is more than 10% off, so then it would be a better deal. I bought some of their IDE/floppy cables about a month ago. The cables are okay but they are too long, even for my Antec 1035 case. Unless you are using a server case, I would recommend about a 10" cable for the hard drives, maybe an 18" cable for the CD drives, and a short one-device floppy cable (unless you also have a zip drive) for a neater look.

24", that's pretty long... guess it's good if you have a overly tall tower. good deal

i believe the 10% off is combinable with the add on special, but i may be wrong.

You're right ULI, the 10% coupon is the better choice with the IDE cables. I thought it would stack with the add-on special, but it doesn't.
