the crappy thing is that I have this Econ final tomorrow morning at 7:30, my first exam at the earliest possible time of all exams, and its the one I'm getting a D+ in (I need a C- or greater to pass). I NEED to do well because if I don't I think I'll kill myself rather than having to repeat this class.

me = self-pwned.

Eh I have a calc test tomorrow.>I am pretty much sure i am gonna fail it so I am done.

One thing i hate about college and school in general is that a lot of your grades depnd on your teacher. My calc prof is so freakin hard its not even funny. I have done every single homework problem for a chapter..and went to the tutoring center every week. We get the test and the problems are like the homework but every single one of them has a freakin twist to it that was some obscure thing he taught ONE day or some algebra rule that u learned back in the day that u never use that u need just to start the problem.

I look at my friends calc test and its HALF the length and the problems are straight forward. I am just taking it again next year with him and getting an A which would make my GPA that much better.

Economics is not that bad tho. I had it this semester. Pretty interesting actually.

heh we're opposite, i'm excellent at figuring out obscure algebra and calc problems, but i absolutely suck at economics principles.

I don't see any point to studying for finals.

If you didn't learn it over the course of the semester, what possibly makes you think you will learn it over the coarse of one night?

typically this is my view also. typiucally my study sessions for finals consist of reviewing notes briefly to refresh my mind. trying to learn new concepts is a waste of time, but reviewing things you've learned previously can mean the difference between an A and B on an exam.

Heh economics is kinda a abstract way at looking at things. Its assuming that everything is perfect and wokrs the way it is suppose to which it isnt. I think the hardest part of it is just the vocab you need to know. A lot of it uses annoying words when they could just make it simple using..simple words..

Heh i talked to 6 people in my calc class. I got 48 on the last test...so far i know 2 that got a 48 like me. one 60, two 66 and one 50. No one with a c yet...
