i was checking for the "10 second cars", man, not many cars can pull 1/4 in 10 secs.. i think road & driver only had like 2-3 stock car that can do it (back of magazine), i think 1 car did 1/4 in 9.6 sec @ 132mph

they're all too riced out,

First movie was the same way. A 9 second street legal car would take a simply incredible amount of money to build but they threw around the numbers.

Personally I like how their 9-12 second 1/4 mile races would take like 30 seconds of screen time

I did like the first movie.

This one looks like diarhea. I'd say it looks like the diarhea I have after a nasty bout of binge drinking but that wouldn't do it justice because it looks worse.

Doesn't the star of the movie have a skyline in real life? is that his?

I saw the trailer and thought it was a commercial for sprite or something. Maybe hotwheels given that the cars looked and moved like they do in the hot wheels commercials. I laughed my buttocks off when I realized that it was the movie.

360hp supercharged s2000 is nice

but yea, skyline looks like a riced old style accord. needs update.. bad. needs to look like a g35.

1/4 mile in 15.5? Sh!t, my old 88 RX-7 turbo can take that thing. 0-60 in about 6.5, 1/4 mile in 14.4. Stock. No boosting. No rice.

There are many iterations of the Lancer Evolution and it doesn't state which one this is.
It's definitely not an Evo VIII, unless they did a lot of body work and modifications.
It looks like an Evo VII.

That sounds about right for a stock Eclipse V6. Those things aren't particularly fast, or good looking.
Especially after that checkerbox paint job all over the body.

The R33 and R34 GT-R's look beautiful stock... much better than the current G35's, coupe or sedan.
They definitely don't look outdated. Their body styles could pass fresh new designs.

I knew that S2000 wasn't going to be bone stock. That's pretty pitiful when Paxton supercharger only nets you about 1.1 seconds in that car. S2000 = torqueless wonder.

Yeah, but the fact that it's supposed to be a "fast car omg Fast & Furious super racer dragster" just makes it funny that a fifteen-year-old, $4000 stock car can 0wn it. If I had another couple thousand to sink into upgrading it, I'm sure the RX-7t could hold its own with the upper level crapmobiles in the Riced and the Ridiculous.

They were all probably "rice mods" to the Eclipse... paint job, entertainment sytem, etc... no engine work at all.
The Spyder isn't meant to be a fast track/drag car anyway.

A modded RX-7 could probably hang with the Evo and S2000, but not with the almighty Skyline
