2 Ethernet ports on motherboard - can I connect to 2 DIFFERENT ISPs at once?

Let's say (hypothetically) I have two modems in my household, belonging to two different internet service providers and a motherboard with two gigabit ethernet LAN (with teaming, if that means anything). And let's say that each modem/internet plan provides 100mbps/1mbps download/upload speed respectively.

Would connecting each gigabit ethernet lan to each router result in internet access from both ISPs on the same computer? And if so, would it result in increased download/upload speed?

If you frequently download or upload large files to and from multiple locations at the same time and max out the speed of a single connection, then using two ISPs at the same time could possibly result in faster overall transfers, but it won't make single files move any faster.
