hi i would like to add a second hard drive to my system the neopower 650 has a power cable with a split and 2 sata connectors on the end .is it wise to connect 2 hard drives on the split or should each hard drive be on its own power cable thanks.

1 cable should be fine. Now if you had 10+ hard drives you'd want to split them up. Especially since on boot they draw the highest current when spinning up.

Edit: By 1 cable I mean the split you suggested. Hopefully my wording isn't too confusing
