2 different RAM brands in 1 computer, will work fine ?

The only good answer is "Maybe."

With RAM, you just never know for sure.

Sometimes, you can't even mix RAM from the same company...with the same overall ratings...but sometimes, you can mix & match.

Personally, if it can be avoided...do so. You're better served to buy all new ram in a kit that's been tested together than to mix & match...but that can get spendy...

I also agree with boomer.
I just want to share one thing that last week my friend got 2 RAMs of different brands and installed to his pc. His PC is working wine with them.

In 25 years, I've never had a problem with mixing different brands of memory modules. Note that I don't overclock nowadays and I usually run a multi-day Memtest whenever I build a new PC or add a new memory module.

This doesn't mean that mixing brands or models can't have consequences. Different voltage or timing requirements will mean that one module or the other may be set to non-optimal settings.

I still see it occasionally, a few times a month where different modules won't mix. But it's not as common as it used to be. My advice is to not do it if it can be avoided. If you already own the RAM, it's worth a try but I would not buy 2 different kits betting on them running together. As cheap as RAM is right now, just buying a 4GB kit is the best option.
