For Christmas my mom said she wanted an electric frying pan, and well does anyone know a good brand or a good place to shop for one? I'd prefer to buy it online because I hate shopping in a store and such. Another question is will my '96 Aurora support a remote car starter? I want one for it and I think my parents are going to get me one for Christmas and they want to know.

Cliff Notes Version:

1st Question: Good electric Frying Pan? Where to get it?

2nd Question: Does my '96 Oldsmobile Aurora support an Electric car starter?

Thanks Fellas,
Stu

Hey, another Aurora man. What color is yours? I cannot answer either question, but can say hello. Try calling AutoZone or some good auto parts store. Pretty sure they can tell you on the remote starter. But, as you know from looking at the engine bay, there's little room for anything there and I wouldn't even want to have to work on it. Fact is, I haven't even found my battery yet! Good luck.

Yes, you can install remote start on any car that has an auto tranny. Take it to a reputable shop and they'll hook it up no sweat.

You can buy the pan at amazon.com or cooking.com.

As a general rule, electric pans suck ass so get whatever you want.

Mine is silver, and I do love it. And yes you are right about there being a ton of stuff underneath the hood which is why I asked if it would support an automatic car starter or not. What color is yours?

May I ask why they suck? She said either a electric one or at least a regular frying pan that has a good non-stick life because the one she has the non-stick surface is wearing off.

Silver is neat. I am too color blind to know what mine is for sure. It turns based on the light. My wife and daughter are both trying their best to name the color now and say from a turquoise or teal and sort of goes from blue to green .... does that pin it down any? Fun cars to drive.

BTW, been married many years and have had much experience with electric skillets and gone through many. Haven't seen too much difference between them.Wife and daughter say Sunbeam OK.
