2 days old Sapphire 9600 pro failed

I bought a Sapphire 9600 pro ultimate from Newegg. After playing the games for long hours last night, the card locked up window xp at boot screen this morning. From my 2 days experience, the picture quality of this new card is not as sharp as my old nvidia geforce2. Well, time to call Newegg.

I guess it was a dud.. I'm surprised your iq isn't as good as the old gf2, since the iq on ati cards is generally considered to be better than nvidia's.

No, this is not a refurb. This is retail and arrived sealed. Well, iq on a sapphire card may be different. Perhaps I should go with ati afterall.

i have a 9700 pro and an old radeon aiw compared to a gf2mx and gf4ti4200 the picture quality was far superior imho

it appears you got a dud.
