2 cycle oil mix in lawnmower?

My echo weedeater will start and idle but when I give it gas it dies. Thinking the gas is old and I'm down to the last bit in the fuel container. Can I mix the last bit of it with my straight gas for the lawnmower? I have no where to throw out the old mix.

I'm going to make a new mix of 2 cycle and see if that helps the weedeater. Thanks for any info?

No. It might foul the plug a bit, but it won't hurt anything.

uh, i've been using the same oil, gas mix in my gas trimmer for 2 years. i didnt even change the plug yet. no stabilizer either lol. sometimes it revs so high and spins so fast i think its going to explode. am i paranoid?
