I have two 2.5 inch laptop drives that I could use as backups, etc.
Was wondering if anyone had used these or ones like these.
I'll buy two or three. Usually one per home addredd so I'll have the kids buy one each and put it on my tab! LOL

I'll buy one and have my kids buy one each too. I have the drives to install in the enclosure. I give them to the kids and they can use them for backups and storing their music, etc.

It depends on how often you find yourself with bare drives. I bought one of those SATA 2.5"/3.5" USB docks that I have been happy with.

That would be my preference. Of course, it is sometimes more convenient to have the drive in an enclosure.
