I was listening to Glenn Beck and he was playing Jeopretardy and the question was "Who's on the $2 bill."

I felt stupid I just couldn't remember (neither could the caller!) so I Googled it.

I found this funny story:

At least the Glenn Beck caller didn't try to tell Glenn there was no such thing as a $2 bill! :D

Definitely a classic, and everytime I read it, I want to buy a stack of $2 bills and use them everywhere I can .. just to see what happens.

Here's a little fun thing you can do just to up the ante. $2 bills are readily available at banks. Get a pile of them and take them to Kinko's or another copy joint. They can turn them into a gummed pad for a buck or two.

Then when you want to spend them, pull out your pad and peel off as many as you need. If they weren't suspicious before, that will do the trick!

lol.

funny how some establishments will turn down legal tender and yet accept obviously illegal tender like the 3000 bill or whatever that woman paid with that had a picture of george w bush on it.

That's funny!. I remember going to NYC as a kid and asking for my change in 2 $2 bills; I got the queerest face from this woman. Of course we have them up here in Canuckistan. What struck me about the story though is the guy's natural reaction being to "call Security". F'n' day in age.

I had an old version $50 bill once and Arbys called teh cops on me. The cop didn't have a counterfeit pen, so he had to call for "backup". The manager said that the money didn't have the security strip in it and you couldn't see the watermark. WTF dude! It's old! They didn't have that crap back in the 70s! The cop thought it was fake too, because he was like 20yo and doesn't remember the old ones. The "backup" cop was like 50yo, and he was laughing at the other cop and the manager. Next time the bank gives me an old bill, I am giving it back :) They gave me free food too... yay.
