Have the option of getting 2 AVs cheap:

ESET Nod32 7 (2014) - $20
Kaspersky 2014 - $23

Both are 3 PC licenses. Which would you get?
 
Damn, it's a toughy. I have never had to clean up a PC with either of them but then again most folks haven't even heard of them. I know NOD32 at least fairly recently is decently light-weight on resources. Their detection rates are probably comparable but I'm not sure what the added bloat of Kaspersky gets you in return. I would grab the NOD32 personally.
 
Kaspersky used to be among the best but recent versions are extremely bloated as mentioned.

NOD32 would be my choice as well.
