They got this real time call records thing that shows your every call and how much was charged for it... No connect fee and no monthly fee. There is that payphone fee but i use a cell phone anyway so it doesn't matter. Besides, they are pretty upfront about the payphone fee. So I don't use it at a payphone...

Well, i haven't used this one in a while, but i used to call through it all the time. It's PC to Phone, which suits me fairly well. The quality of the sound is not too shabby, unless the person you're calling is out in the country. And high speed access will help of course. I've never tried this with a dialup service, so if anyone tries through a 56ker, PM me your results.

Of course, the only reason i mention it is because it's FREE anywhere in the US, 24/7.

I tend to agree, but there are some that don't. I know when I was using Qwest through essential.com. I was charged nothing each month (I rarely ever make any ld calls on this line). Then I switched to the MCI $150 deal, and didn't make any LD calls last month, yet they charged me almost $9 in extra charges. No way would I ever stay with MCI directly due to their charges. I will now try gtctelecom.com

The PICC charge thing is no longer valid for them to charge, as they are no longer required to pay that to the local phone companies.

I'm sure there are other ways for them to rip people off, but the domestic monthly LD is what usually is the most important in my opinion.

This onesuite site sounds like a 3rd party company, kinda like the 10-10 numbers.

bigzoo is offering 15% off on International calls during off-peak hours, which is 9PM-4AM PST. The calls must start and terminate between the timeframe. Don't forget about that. :)

Okay, I guess I'm the only person that they're overcharging at the moment. I made a call to Vietnam (Chinese New Year) and they charged me $1.15/min instead of $0.78/min. Then, a call to UK cost $0.55/min instead of $0.05/min. I just talked to a live representative and she claimed that computer system is down right now, so I couldn't get credit. Also, I've sent a few e-mails to them by using the form on the site, so far no answers as of yet. I guess I'm the only lucky one around here.

I disagree. At 2.9 cents/min, you have to admit their profit margin is really pretty slim. I can tell you they don't have a connection fee. They do have a pay phone fee but the reason for that is pretty well explained in their website. Then even if they round up to the minute, it's what, another 2 cents or so? That's not too bad.

Just my 2 cents.

PochiePooh - The $1.15/min to Vietnam makes no sense, unless the number you called is a mobile phone, but even then, OneSuite doesn't list that rate on their rates page.

On the other hand, the $0.55/min to United Kingdom definitely looks like they are charging you the rate for calling a mobile phone (and that rate is listed on the rates page). Unlike in the U.S., in some parts of the world (U.K. for example) the caller pays the mobile phone rate, and the mobile phone user doesn't get charged for incoming calls.

At the least, they should credit you the difference for the calls to Vietnam.
