2.8ghz upgrade worth it?

I was looking at a new processor and didnt know if its worth upgrading from my 2.8 (hyperthreading). If i went for a 3ghz, 3.2ghz or a 3.4ghz what kinda performance would i see, if any. Im into video editing and a little bit of gaming....

If you need any more peformance, overclock your 2.8. It will probably hit 3.2ish if you're lucky

going from a 2.8 to anything these days would not be worth it imho, better try and squeeze some power out of it, and as mentioned it'll probably get to 3 or higher. save yer money for when it counts.

If you're running everything as fast as you want, you don't need to upgrade.
