2.8C vs. 3.06?

Which would be the better buy, with the 2.8c at $213 and the 3.06 at $255. Consider that I only have pc2100 and don't plan on upgrading the memory any time soon. I'd also like to overclock either processor. Machine is primarily used for gaming. Any help would be appreciated :)

Have you considered buying the 2.6, using the money you saved. Selling your old ram ,buying new ram and then oc'ing.

the difference between the 2.8 and the 2.6 is $44. you'll be hard pressed to find decent ram for 44, and even if u do, its gonna be 256

Selling his old RAM should bring in a few $$ also :) But yes, you would want to get decent RAM no doubt.
