2.6c problems

I am currently running a 2.6c with abit is7 mobo along with a gig of corsair xms 3700 ram. It will run fine at stock speeds but if I over clock at all, then it seems to crash. If i oc to anything like 210x13, then it will boot to windows but prime 95 is an instant error. It seemed fine playing games at 210x13 though. If i raise to 215x13 at vcore 1.65v, then it will not even boot to windows. I do not think it is a problem with memory because memtest will run fine. Is this a problem with the cpu or the motherboard? Or am I completely missing a very important setting in the bios? Any help would be appreciated.

Do not ever assume that Memtest86 will give you a pass with memory to Windows. In particular with fast chips like 2-2-2-6 settings. I can pass Memtest86 with a particular chip at 220x2 and yet the same chip is crashing in the Windows at 200x2 and it is undoubtedly memory since with a replacement everything runs fine.

Note there is more than just a chip in case of memory use. Besides you can even pass Memtest86 and Prime95 but you might not be able to run installation of Unix/Linux type of system because ramdisk image cannot be loaded properly into memory. No test is bullet proof.
First step to do if you have not done it already is to set GAT on auto and relax timings Ras to Cas delay to 3.

You should check out the stickied IS7 thread in the MB forums. Have you updated your bios to 15? Disable the last two setting under GAT.
