I just ordered all this stuff from newegg to build a system after my old PSU died and caused my HD to catch on fire :)

I'm hearing people have success running the 2.6C at 3.25 just by increasing the FSB, so I will probably start off with just that. What is the best way to configure the RAM for this setup? I am not looking for hardcore overclocking by any means as I would like to hopefully rely on the stock cooling in my Antec SOHO. Basically, any suggestions for a first time OC'er would be much appreciated.

Thanks alot!

my Antec PSU also blew up 2 weeks ago, it took videocard and 3 HDs with it. I sent the PSU/VideoCard back t othe manufacturer hoping to get them replaced since they are warranted for 3 years and i have only had them for year and half.

I was lucky enough to turn it off quickly and only lost the HD, which Best Buy replaced for free. Alright so I didn't tell them exactly why it caught on fire :) If I could have gotten a free video card out of it that would have been cool, but I don't know if my old Radeon 64MB is still warrantied. At least I have my powerbook or I'd be screwed for schoolwork.

Well what motherboard and chipset will you be using??? I would say a 2.6C at 3.25ghz is a 250fsb so unless you have ram capable of running 50mhz ddr you will need to use a 5:4 or 3:2 ratio.....Give more info and we can help.....I think 3.25ghz is a real possibility with giving no additional voltage at all...good luck
