im pretty sure it will still work
i rememeber readinga bout a problem with the asus board that wont work between 166 and 200 mhz cpu freq...i dont know if this is the case iwht all boards ( pretty sure it isnt....or shouldnt be anways) but maybe make sure of that before buying it

anyways, it says to run in ddr 400 you'd need an 800mhz cpu...
of course that means "officially"...
which means nothing in this section ;)
it'll run in dual channel no matter what the speed

I think this thread over at the overclockers.com board will answer your question

http://forum.oc-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=192594

....got his 2.53 to run at a 200fsb no problem on an Abit IC7 Canterwood mobo. Now I'm sure its a combo of the chip and the board, but the Abit and Asus Canterwood boards have really turned in some impressive results on a lot of chips provided you match it up with good RAM.

Another person on that board got a 2.4B to run at 3.4ghz on the Abit IC7. So yeah, the Canterwoods are proving very nice provided you stick with either Asus or Abit...the MSI and Gigabyte boards seem to have some funkiness to them. As it stands I think the general consensus is you get a slightly better FSB overclock with an Abit canterwood and slightly better memory scores with the Asus canterwood. I am pretty confident both boards still have even a bit more room for improvement with future bios updates.
