2.53 on a ASUS P4B533-e

Can i Usea P4 2.53 on a P4B533-e, on the asus site it says, 1.8 to 2.4 ghz processors only.
or do i have to go and purchase the Asus P4S8X mobo for the 2.53 cpu.


Please tell me.. I would like to purchase this today....

From the Asus bios update page:

P4B533 BIOS v1008 (Language: E, F, J, TC, SC)

1. Support CPU with frequency multiple 25x,26x, 27x or 28x.
2. Remove the fix added in 1008.002 for 3COM 3C905CX-TXM PCI LAN card.
3. Fix 3COM 3C905CX-TXM PCI LAN card is always the first boot device candidate.
4. Support Intel Northwood C-1 stepping CPU.
5. Bios multi-language support- English, French, Japan, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese
