I finnaly bit on a Vertex 2. Anyone have a link to a cheap bracket so I can throw it into my PC when it arrives? I searched google, but Im almost positive Ive seen cheaper ones around. Thanks

I just used some velcro and stuck mine on to the side of my drive cage, back out of the way so it doesn't block anything.

I think velcro might be better than duct tape... Just because if you might ever want to sell the drive there wont be like a sticky looking strip on it... but... i dont know 😀

duct tape, not kidding, have done that for a few builds for family members. Works great.

...or just line up a single bolt hole in a 3.5" (or 5.25") bay. Holds fine. I have 3.5" HDD trays in my case. I drilled two holes in the bottom of the tray, and secured it that way.

Almost anything works better than duct tape! 😛

I love my duct tape and im sticking to it, lol. BTW rubbing alcohol works great to get the residue off if you want to sell it.

Velcro. Wish I'd thought of that. I stuck mine on with a little rectangle of double-sided sticky foam.

I used a Startech 5.25" to 3.5" adapter

And a Startech 3.5" to 2.5" adapter

I was surprised how expensive the adapters are in the US, since we generally pay more in the UK for computer components. I was expecting it to cost under $10 exc. shipping since the adapters cost me about £6 total in the UK.
