2.5" sata hard drive to usb?

i have a spare 250gig laptop sata hd.
i also have a few Clonezilla images on various 8gig flash drives.

i want to combine all those images into 1 place. also, so i dont have to search for the flash drive when loading a image into the laptop.

will this enclosure power my hard drive?
or do i need a Y-cable? (enclosure usb to 2 usb connections on laptop?)

Most 7200RPM 2.5" drives do need extra power (i.e. use a Y-cable), but otherwise it should be fine.

I have one of those, I don't recommend them for long term use. The components get VERY hot and seem to be rather cheaply made. I'd recommend a better quality one from newegg for longer term use.
