looks to be a pretty cool device, but only accepts an 80GB hard drive? meh...for videos 80 gigs isn't too big :|

I got the same device and I am using 100GB FAT32 partitioned drive w/o any problem.

PATA or SATA? I gotta know cuz I have a 100GB 5400rpm unit sitting on the shelf....



The 80GB "limit" was probably the largest drive available, or largest drive tested in the unit, when the manufacturer put out its spec sheet.

I'd guess the deal with maximum drive size is that Windows can't make FAT32 partitions larger than ~32GB, but some 3rd-part tools can..
