I'm going to stay away. I'd love a 2.5" USB enclosure for $5.49. I'm not worried about buying and not getting it. Just not going to risk giving that site my CC number. If it's too good to be true, it usually is. ;)

I received the enclosure yesterday and it works fine. I don't suspect it will take much abuse but what else should I expect for $5?

Um, can I ask a question? I have a 60 GB HD in my newish Thinkpad T60. If I get one of these could I buy a 120 GB drive for the laptop and put the 60 GB in this enclosure and use it as an external HD, say in order to transfer data between my desktops and the laptop? Please forgive my ignorance.

Yes you can at long as the 60Gig is IDE and not SATA if it is SATA then you need a SATA enclosure.

Got my stuff yesterday. bought 3 enclosures, they work great.
came in a big bubble bag and a retail type box inside.

Edit: interesting considering i just tried to go to the site to see if the deal was still alive and i got
