ive heard mixed reviews of the ocz.

ill have my testing of my 2.4b up next week testing. Just finnished my wc rig and doing more testing.

so far idle in bios was 30 C not bad 🙂
 
Ok - I received the first test stick from neweggy and quickly with excitement put it in the slot.
Corsair XMS3500C2 512Mb with specs of (CL2-7-3-3 @ 2.5v DDR433)

Booted straight into MemTest @ only 150fsb 3:4 ratio DDR400
Can you say Errors, errors, errors!!!!!!!!!

Guess What? Piece of Junk. :disgust: Never even bothered with any benchmarks. :frown:
Went back on a exchange RMA today. Maybe the next one will do something.

Reduced the bus to 147 3:4 ratio 2.6v (CL2.5-7-3-3) DDR392 with the following results:
Running all 11 tests:

OCZ shows to be delivered Monday, so we shall see how it goes.
 
Im going to test my XMS3500c2 Platinum this weekend.......Ill post the results as well (wheres that official 'Thugs' thread on this?!) 😀

OK, so now I got in a replacement stick for the XMS3500 and it only made it to 152fsb (3:4) DDR406.

I also got in the OCZ EL PC3500 and it only made it up to 141fsb (3:4) DDR376.

Anyway, both are RMA'd and on their way back. I think that pretty much confirms it is garbage as far as I am concerned.

Maybe it is my old BD7II mobo, but I think not.
Frustrated :disgust: I went ahead and ordered a P4G8X and 2 sticks of Corsair PC3200LLPT.

I now have to go buy some lotto tickets and win so that I can pay for this addiction. 😀
