FYI, I just received a 2.4A C1 from newegg today. I think they just got a batch of these in because they were listed as out of stock earlier this week. If you are looking for a 400mhz 2.4 C1, might want to put in an order....

Try OC'ing it. I want to see how those 2.4's w/400fsb OC. If your lucky I might say 3.2GHz would be an extremely lucky OC.
But if it does it on stock voltage.... It might be something to drool about :D

hmm, well it's at 2.9 @ 1.54v and seems to be stable, I'll know just how stable after the nightly prime95 beating, it got thru about 20 tests ok. I'm running the stock cooler and temps are hitting up to 56c under full load. I'm about maxed out on vCore anyway with this abit th7-II board's undervolting.

It looks like I'll need a better heatsink before overclocking any higher...

Tasc you know how to do the simple wire mod on the bottom of the cpu with a copper strand (no soldering needed)??? it can set deafult to 1.7v and then either let the abit undervolting drop it to 1.6v or boost the vcore in the bios inconjunction with this default setting of 1.7v to get to 1.65v -1.7v....IMO the do not go higher then zone...

did it ever need a boost in vcore from a 1.5v actual??? or could you still be running this as a true 1.5v default and have stability???

Well it died in the prime95 after awhile at 2900. It does run stable at 2770 @ 1.52v actual, this seems to be its limit at default voltage.
