2.40ghz to 2.48ghz doesn't increase game speed?

When I bumped my Venice 3000+ up 80mhz (2.40ghz to 2.48ghz) I didn't see any improvement in the Counter-Strike: Source Video Stress Test benchmark. Both speeds produced a score of ~90fps. Is this normal? I was assuming I would see a few more FPS with the 80mhz bump.

System Specs:
Venice 3000+
6800GT oc'ed to Ultra speed
2gb ram

When comparing clock speeds, you should really compare them as a ratio, and not simply calculate the difference.
2.40 to 2.48GHz is only a 3% increase in clock speed, and gaming performance (FPS) very seldom scales directly with clock speed. You could perhaps expect a 1 - 1.5% increase in FPS, which in your case, would be less than a single frame.
