If you are looking to get OC of 2.8-3Ghz, go for the 2.53 C1 stepping.

If you are talking about the difference between stock 2.4 vs 2.53, then price to performance is not worth it.

You could also save quite a bit on the cost by just getting a 1.8A and be pretty sure that you could get 2.4-2.7 out of it.

I have a 2.4b C1 stepping on the way which should be here next week.

Will let you know how it compares to my current 1.8A after I run it thru all the testing.

If you can get a c1 in the 2.4b you should theoretically with the newer packing date be able to attain same overall speed of an overclocked 2.53ghz...Therefore the money saved plus the lower multiplier to give you higher fsb and thus memory speeds is a performance edge...
