I was told its a good idea to oc my 2.4c cpu. How high should I go? If you guys could include some vcore and other figures that would be nice. Also, my RAM is pretty good (512 Kingston PC3200 & 512 Geil PC3200). Should I also overclock that too? How high?

THANKS

Bling Bling: Its a C not a B Northwood.

matermoh: With aftermarket air-cooling speeds above 3Ghz are very possible. But if you do not have an aftermarket cooler and want to use your Intel cooler I'd say 2.8 -2.9ghz you'll be fine.

Cousin have one running at 3GHZ (250 fsb) with stock cooling (and a open case), using cheap memory (spectek I believe) with a divider, his MB is a MSI-865Neo2

I had my 2.4C running at 3ghz on default volts, prime stable.

I shouldn't think you'd have too much trouble hitting that if you have a decent motherboard.

The ram wont hit 250fsb (DDR500), but you should be able to set a divider in the Bios.
