Hey guys,
I thought this problem would have been covered here already, but I couldn't find anything through quite a few searches. Here goes -
I got my dad the Linksys WRT54G for Christmas since he got one of the $400 Dell laptops during the holidays. Apparently, he really likes it, but the 2.4Ghz phone they have knocks his connection out every single time it rings. I experienced the same thing on my own laptop while I was visiting before, but I didn't have much time to research it then.
I'm visiting again next weekend and I should fix it this time. Since I'm only going to have the 2 days, I'm aiming to collect a as many possible solutions as I can before I go back again.
So far I've got...
1) Change the channel frequency on the router
2) ???
By the way, replacing the phone isn't really an option because it is actually a pretty nice phone which cost them >$100 a year or so ago. To my parents, that's too big of investment to just discard. 🙂😛
Any further suggestions are greatly welcome. Thanks for taking the time to read this,
CK
