I've got two contract roles starting October 2. $20-25/hr. Early shift (5am or so) and swing shift. You'd work for me, essentially.

- Good in Excel (MUST be fluent with vlookups)
- RELIABLE
- Takes directions well
- Basic understanding of Outlook

Not a hard role, but I need someone who will for sure be there over the time periods we need them.
------------------------------------------------
Update: Got an ATer for my evening shift- anybody want the morning?

Hmm, I might be interested. I'd have to do swing. Any more details on what exactly the work would entail?

Good luck finding someone, very nice of you to offer.

I live in Seattle and have been working a buttload on spreadsheet projects. One project involves about 400 spreadsheets I designed for them, another is illustrating converting a big ol' database with bunches o' vlookups into a database.

Hit me up with more details?

I work in HR for a 30k person company, and we are manually supporting a performance review process for 6k employees, all done in Excel. These 6k forms need to be collected, audited, sent back to managers if they fail the audit, and the data needs to be compiled into a particular format and copied and pasted (repeatedly) into a pre-prepared template. It's tedious work but not difficult, if you know how to do vlookups. There are two roles - for the first two weeks, the positions will be split so one is an early morning shift and the other is an afternoon/evening shift. The third week the shift will probably stabilize into a normal 8-5. There may be a need to work two weekends, but that's up in the air.

What else can I share with you about the role?

Cheers!

This is a contract role for 3 weeks that's practically data entry level (though well paid). You have pretty high expectations. :p

Unfortunately I have no computer skills except for killing alien invaders in the thousands.

But, if you want to get together for a drink.......................

We've got an online tool in the works. This is just sustaining what we've got til the new tool gets in.

That's good to hear, but I'd be doing some sort of spreadsheet linking into the template and/or macro writing long before I'd yield to repetative cut and pasting, UGH!

Good luck in your quest anyway :)

We've got a pretty complex set of spreadsheets now but I haven't had the time to delve into building a macro for that part of the process. Maybe my ATOT contractor can figure it out. ;)
