hah

I'm feeling the same thing. Didn't even finish the last one, but I want this anyway :D

The reviews I've read say it's the best AC yet. I played 2 on the PS3 but skipped Brotherhood. While the game is not close to my definition of a classic, it's still pretty fun and definitely worth the reduced price.

Good thing I'm not an AC fan. Although I will admit that ACII was definitely a far cry more interesting than the first one.

I may have to check into this series again. After all of the rave reviews and high scores it got I had high hopes for the first one, but didn't really enjoy it and quit after a few hours.

If I do try it again I'll probably go for 2. Is there an over-arching story to these games? Is it advisable to play them in order?

The first one sucked.

There's a decent story which pretty much begins at 2... and 2 and 3 are excellent games, imho. Haven't played this one yet, though, but I may bite.

The first was completely overhyped, it's a very boring game when I played it, and I think I quit after 3 or 4 hours. The second one is much improved, still pretty boring and monotonous/forgettable missions but the story was decent enough that it compelled me to finish the game. I haven't played Brotherhood but I have a feeling I won't need to going into playing Revelations.
