2.26A @ 140 FSB issues...Please Help

Hmmm..I am getting data corruption at only 2380MHz 140 FSB...!!!!...seems abit low
P4 2.26A @ default VCORE (actual 1.43 Volts being Drawn) (Temp at 50C)
Motherboard = Shuttle FS51 MB. (SIS 651)
Kingston 256Mb DDR 2100 Ram , (4:3) divider ...
IBM Deathstar GXP 75 DLTA 703050
Asustek V8200 GF3...

What could the suspect be...?
-----CPU voltage? its reading 1.43 volts...isn't it supposed to run at 1.50?.....If I have to change it ...would 1.7 Volts be safe...(1.7 volts is the next ---possible voltage setting....to be obtained by VID pin wrapping.....whats the recommended Max voltage on a Pentium 4 Northwood.).. ?
------RAM using 5:4 Divider so its only at at 105 MHz (210MHz) ?
------HDD possible.........I could change it with a Death Star 61.5 Gig HDD ?
-----I managed to get the worst CPU on the block..?

Before I even entered this thread I knew it was going to be a sis chipset....

First off the board lacks a agp/pci lock....If it used a 1/4 divider the pci would be 35mhz and hardly above spec, but then again you have IBM which in my opinion is the worst HDD to OC...Hell the gxp75 will die at normal speeds!!!😉

I say my major nod goes to crap HDD....

Secondly....The board is undervolting lime gigabyte, Epox, Abit andf MSI do....Pin wrap it to 1.7v and once again it should undervolt that to 1.63v and it should give you some room to play...

Third your cpu is not going to cause hardware corruption...It will be the ram or the harddrive and the fact the ram is so under spec'd I doubt it...

1) Test another HDD
2) test a new stick of ram...

Duvie's right about the HD.I have the same model IBM 75GXP and its a POS.I got the made in Hungary HD to boot.I get HD corruption all the time with O\Cing.Tomorrow I will have my WD 80gig 8MB cache,Corsair PC3200 XMS ram and hopefully it will fair better. If not it will get the boot real quick🙂.

Thx.......
Hmm...trying to get my hands on Corsair XMS 3200 right now..........well the Deathstar is pretty old .....99 ...
As for the HDD..I will use the the 60 gig instead.....Still IBM......It runs fine at 145 FSB on a ASUS A7V333...so goin to pull it out....of my other system and stick it in..
