(2) 120mm fan rad vs (1) 120mm fan rad

thinking about watercooling... is the (2) fan setup that much better?

Yea, it is quite better.

With a single fan rad, you have to be very careful with the deadzone (where the motor is) - meaning that you should definately use a shroud to get maximum used surface area. Shrouds take up alot of extra room.

With a double 120mm rad, you don't need to worry as much about the dead spot, and you can easily cool CPU, GPU. I'm using a triple 120mm so I can run fans slower, and therefore, quieter.

Yeah. It'll be louder and your temps won't be as good as a 2 or 3 fan rad.

Easy choice. Get a new case.

Yea. Since you are WC, I'd say that you are adventurous enough to cut your case. Believe me, it's easier than it seems.

If you want performance, but also low noise, a double is the only way to go.
