2.1 + 4.1 Setup on a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz

I looked all over the forums for this, but couldn't clear up the issue for myself...so here goes.

I have a 2.1 Altec Lansing ATP3 and a 4.1 Logitech Z-540 hooked into a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz. I have the TBSC set up on virtual 5.1 and the ATP3s hooked into the front speaker port, the front Z-540 connector into the Versa Jack (Center/Sub Channel), the rear Z-540 connector into the rear speaker jack. While this works, and I get all the channels I'm supposed to, as well as the sub signal...I just have one problem. The center dialogue only goes to the front left speaker of the Z-540's, and right one just replicates the front 2 channels. How do I get both of the front speakers on the Z-540 to do center?

This happens in Powerdvd 5 under the 6 speaker option.

What would happen if I plugged the front speaker connector of the Z-540 into a Stereo-to-Mono Adapter, and then into the Versa Jack? Would I then get both the front Z-540 speakers to emulate the center channel without disrupting the sub signal?

K I installed the Stereo-to-Mono adapter and I have center sound coming from both the front speakers on the Z-540s now. But now the LFE doesn't go to the Z-540's sub anymore. Can I get a little insight here?
