2.0A for a 2.2A Spin-Up Current, Samsung F3

The Samsung F3 spinup current requires 2.2A (Max.) stated from their webpage Link

I have a HDD power controller on order that states it supplies 2A for both the 12v and 5v.

Will the lack of .2A be a problem?

I'm guessing no because it's only during "spin-up" and probably not during normal operation. But if there are technical things/answers that suggest not to do this, that would help...

probably just thinking too hard about this..

TIA

I have a "gigabit NAS" (its official name), with an IDE WD 500GB HD in it, and it sometimes fails to spin up when I power-on the NAS. I assume that the spin-up current required is just on the very edge of what the NAS can supply. I expect that you will have similar problems.
