2,000,000 jobs lost since March 1, 2002

I saw the blurb on headline news. That is something like one in every 150 have lost their jobs. This is not good and the job market still sucks. Places like Staples, Circuit City and other retail are not hiring around here. When will it get better?

sucks to be in the workforce
Everyday I wonder what it's like to do another job (more exciting places to work, maybe) and everyday I get reminded "fat chance" by ATOT.

You think thats bad, wait when states start axing jobs to cover their huge debts. I don't want to turn this into a Bush bashing thread, but his economic stimulus plan does nothing to get companies to start hiring and expanding. Companies will continue to lay off workers, consumer confidence will continue to drop, consumer spending will continue to drop and the economy will get worse, good thing we have this war to pay for though, sure don't need the money for groceries.

and PoPPeR, I guess you don't have parents who work.
