Quick question ..just got a USB 2.0 card now I am wondering Is there a difference between USB cables and USB 2.0 cables I know the connectors would have to be the same for compatibility so is it inside the cable or are all cables created equal??

The cables are the same. The only difference would be the quality the cable manufacurer uses. A cable rated as USB 1.1, if manufactured correctly, will handle USB 2.0 specs for speed and reliability and vice versa.....
