1Will an AGP 8X card work...

...If my motherboard supports only 4X...THis is becasue I was looking for a ti4200, but most of them support 8X. I want to confirm this because The guy from who I buy my hardware sed it wont work. And if i do buy it i wont be able to return.

I think you're trying to say your mobo only supports 4X AGP. Yes, it will work just fine.
