HP only supports up to 4 500GB hard drives on this server, as they haven't tested 1TB drives. The thing is, HP charges waaay to much for 500GB drives, which is why I'm thinking about getting an ML110 an load it with 4 1TB drives (2 RAID1 arrays, 1TB each).
Does anyone have any ideas whether this will work? Our HP consultant says that it should, but can't guarantee it.
