1T with 2GB Ram

The new improved AMD cpu onboard memory controllers still don't seem able to utilize 2GB (4x512) of ram when when all four Dimm slots are populated and trying to run at a command rate of 1T. Has anyone tried 1T with 2GB (2x1GB) thus only populating two Dimm sockets ? Thanks...
